Contributions are
not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal
Election Law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address,
occupation, and name of employer for contributions that aggregate in excess of
$200.00 in an election cycle. The maximum an individual may contribute is $2,300.00
per election. Couples may contribute $4,600.00. Federal PACs may contribute $5,000.00
per election. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals
are prohibited.
